Placing an order on Algoosh is simple, private, and secure. The protocol supports both online and offline shopping through QR-code driven commerce.

Browsing Products

To start shopping, scan an Algoosh QR code with your mobile device. This opens the seller’s product catalog directly in your browser.

• Local Shopping Cart: Your cart is stored locally on your device, ensuring your browsing habits remain private until you decide to checkout.
• Physical Goods: Algoosh is optimized for real-world delivery. Ensure you review product details for shipping requirements or “no delivery” tags.

Checkout & Privacy

When you proceed to checkout, you will be asked for your delivery and contact information.

Privacy First

Your delivery details are end-to-end encrypted on your device before being sent to the blockchain. Algoosh never has access to your plaintext data; only you and the seller can decrypt this information.

Funding the Order

Upon placing the order, funds move from your wallet into a dedicated escrow smart contract.

• Non-Custodial: Algoosh never “holds” your money. The protocol simply enforces the rules for its release.
• Secure Escrow: Funds remain in the contract until the order is completed, a refund is approved, or a dispute is resolved.

What Happens Next?

Once your order is placed:

1. Seller Confirmation: The seller has 5 days to confirm they can fulfill the order.
2. Order Tracking: You can monitor the status and signals of your order through any Algoosh-compatible interface.
3. Cancellation: If the seller doesn’t confirm within 5 days, you can cancel the order and recover your funds from escrow immediately.
