Delivery rules
Successful commerce on Algoosh relies on reliable real-world logistics and adherence to the protocol’s secure signaling system.
Real-World Fulfillment
Section titled “Real-World Fulfillment”Once an order is confirmed, you are responsible for the physical fulfillment and delivery of goods to the buyer.
- Standard Logistics: Process and ship items according to your established standards. Use secure packaging and reputable carriers.
- Local Delivery and Pickup: For in-person fulfillment, use the contact information in the encrypted payload to coordinate with the buyer safely.
- Service-Based Orders: For items not requiring shipment, the protocol lifecycle—including the 45-day window and completion signals—remains the same.
Handling Sensitive Data
Section titled “Handling Sensitive Data”Algoosh’s “privacy-first” architecture ensures that sensitive buyer data is protected.
- Confidentiality: Use the information only for order fulfillment.
- Data Retention: Do not store sensitive buyer data longer than necessary for the transaction.
Maintaining Evidence of Fulfillment
Section titled “Maintaining Evidence of Fulfillment”In a decentralized environment, maintaining robust records is your best protection.
- Tracking Info: While not strictly required on-chain, we strongly recommend sharing tracking numbers with buyers through direct communication. This builds trust and reduces disputes.
- Proof of Shipment: Always keep copies of:
- Shipping receipts
- Carrier tracking logs
- Communication history regarding the delivery
- Importance for Arbitration: This evidence is vital if an order is escalated. It allows you to prove fulfillment to the arbitrator, ensuring a fair escrow outcome.
