Claiming payout
In the Algoosh protocol, you don’t wait for a middleman to “move” your funds. Funds are released directly from the escrow smart contract based on buyer signals or predefined timeouts.
Payout via Buyer Completion
Section titled “Payout via Buyer Completion”The most common path to payout is when a buyer signals that they have received and accepted their physical goods.
- Immediate Release: Once the buyer signals completion, the escrow smart contract immediately releases the funds to your wallet.
- Protocol Automation: This process is entirely automated by the smart contract on the Algorand blockchain.
Payout via Inactivity (Day 52+)
Section titled “Payout via Inactivity (Day 52+)”To protect sellers from unresponsive buyers, the protocol includes an automated path to payout if the buyer fails to act.
- Delivery Window (Days 0–45): The buyer has 45 days to confirm delivery.
- Grace Period (Days 45–52): A 7-day window where the buyer may request a refund.
- Your Claim: If the buyer has not signaled completion and has not requested a refund by Day 52, you may manually signal the protocol for a payout.
Key Payout Facts
Section titled “Key Payout Facts”- Non-Custodial: Algoosh never controls the funds. They are held securely by the escrow smart contract until release conditions are met.
- On-Chain Transparency: Track order status and payout windows directly via the blockchain.
- Finality: Once funds are released from escrow to your wallet, the transaction is finalized.
